North Carolina is where it all began for me. It's where I grew up, first picked up a camera, and developed my curiosity about people and the places they call home. Over the years, I've returned to capture the people and moments that make it home. From Sunday morning church services to the local diner, a Sunday service of its own, to portraits of my mother and the quiet courage of a friend facing life's hardships. These photographs are a collection of stories, both ordinary and extraordinary, from a place I'll always call home. A love letter to where I come from and the people who make it what it is.
